Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Toyota Avalon we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Hopkins Plug In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector. That's going to be part number HM11141820.So here's what our wiring is going to look like once we have it installed. It is designed to stay on the inside of our vehicle until we're ready to tow, and it's going to provide us with a 4 pole flat connector giving us all the required lights to get down the road safely such as our tail lights, turn signals and our staff lights. And whenever we're not towing, we can open up the trunk, and the cushion here is going to provide enough cushion to where it's not going to damage the wire and Hopkins has put that sheathing around it. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2017 Toyota Highlander 118449- Video
Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118449. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. This wiring is going to give us the basic lighting functions that are required by law in order for us to safely and legally tow a trailer. This white wire here provides the necessary ground connection between our trailer and our Highlander, so our lights on the trailer work properly. This brown wire here is for our taillight and running light circuit. On this wire we have a total maximum power output of 5.6 amps of power, which is sufficient to tow a small trailer with a few incandescent light bulbs or several LED lights. LEDs draw significantly less power than incandescent light bulbs, so we don't have much to worry about there. This yellow wire here is for our left turn signal and left brake left. more

Today in our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we'll be having a look at and installing the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number HM11141845. Now here's what our wiring looks like installed. As you'll notice, this wiring extends out of our vehicle, and hangs down by our hitch. We have an adequate length of wiring here so it is easily accessible when we're hooking up to our trailer. Now this wiring harness gives us the necessary functions that are required by law in order for us to legally tow a trailer. Our white wire here gives us the necessary ground connection between our trailer and our Highlander so our trailer lights work properly. Our brown wire here, that gives us our tail light and running light function. more

Today on our 2017 Toyota Sienna we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118648. So here's what our wiring looks like when it's installed. We're going to have a 4-pole flat trailer connector, and it's going to give us all our required lights to go down the road, such as our turn signals, stop lights, and clearance lights. The built-in dust cover, we can use it to actually secure our wiring to our hitch, that way it'll be ready right here whenever we're ready to tow. Now that we know what it looks like when it's all finished up and installed, let's show you how we got it there. To begin our installation, we're going need to open up our rear hatch so we can gain access to the tail lights. Now each tail light is going to have two fasteners holding it in place. more

Today on our 2008 Toyota Highlander we're going to be taking a look at the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness for factory tow package, part number 56042. So here's what our wiring's going to look like when it's fully installed. It's going to give a four pole flat and the ability to plug in our trailer and have lights from our vehicle running on our trailer. And when we're not using it, it's going to stay inside the vehicle, right underneath our panel here, tucked away nicely. It will be ready whenever we need it. I do want to mention that this particular kit is for a vehicle with a factory tow prep package. Curt does make a wiring harness that has everything you need if your vehicle does not have the prep package, and you can use part number C56217. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma we'll be having a look at and installing the Tekonsha T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118496. Here's what our wiring looks like installed. This wiring will give us the basic lighting functions that we need as required by law in order to safely tow a trailer. We'll have our taillight and running light signal off the brown wire, our left turn signal and left brake light off the yellow wire, and our right turn signal and right brake light off the green wire. White wire here is our ground. When it comes to power output of our wiring harness, for our stop and our turn signal circuits, this circuit has 2.1 amps total power output per side. Now, for our taillight and running light circuit, we have a total power output of 7.5 amps. more

Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2016 Toyota Highlander we'll be having a look at and installing the Hopkins plug in simple vehicle wiring harness for four pole flat trailer connector, Part number HM11141845. With our wiring installed, we're ready to hook up to our trailer. We can just drape it to the side of our hatch latch here. Close our hatch on up, by staying away from the latch we'll ensure that it doesn't get crushed or damaged. We have plenty wire length here to hook up to our trailer. We can even tuck some more away on the inside if we need to. more
